SSJ Bardock By: Carl
This is what could have happened when Bardock came out of his pod and saw his fallen comrades.
Bardock's Landing Site
Bardock steps out of his pod and turns on his scouter, which immediately picks up several high power levels. “I see they're still working hard.” He flies in that direction.
A few miles away
Dodoria lifts Toma off the ground.
“Why are you doing this to us, have we not always been faithful to Frieza?” Toma asked in a choked voice.
“He says you Saiyan are an eyesore, and must be eliminated.”
“But why?!”
“I have grown tired of this, prepare to die Saiyan scum,” with that said Dodoria opens fire on Toma's chest, sending him several yards to a pile of rocks that would soon serve as his grave.
A few minutes later
Bardock lands and sees that his comrades are bloodied and lifeless on the soil of the planet Meet.
“Bardock…” came a straining voice from where Toma's body lay.
“Toma! What has happened here, did the people of Meet…”
“No, they were wiped out in minutes. Frieza has betrayed us, he is going to kill all of us Saiyans.”
“This cannot be, we have always been loyal to Frieza.”
“I know, Bardock. He thinks Saiyans are an eyesore. Bardock, you must go to Vegeta and rally our people, show Frieza the strength of the Saiyan people,” Toma's eyes close and his body goes limp.
Bardock takes Toma's white armband and wipes the blood from his face. He stands up and looks at his fallen comrades, the armband becoming blood red. He begins to tie it around his forehead when another vision of the future appears in his mind.
Lava veins begin to surface on planet Vegeta, the planet growing more red every moment, suddenly it expands and there is a huge cosmic explosion with nothing left but several dozen meteors and the echoing screams of its former residents.
Bardock comes out of his trance and sees several of Frieza's warriors standing before him; each one of a different race, but not one Saiyan.
“You Saiyans don't put up much of a fight when going against those of equal power.”
“Especially the tall one, although he was able to stay alive longer than the others.”
Bardock merely stares, his rage building.
“And I doubt that you'll have much of a chance either since you're heavily outnumbered.”
Bardock slips into the vision of Vegeta's demise, but quickly snaps out of it.
Bardock's rage continues to rise as the mercenaries taunt him.
He let's out a scream of torment and lightning begins to come down from the sky, he screams once more; the ground around him rising into the air. His hair sticks up and begins to flash from gold to black. Bardock let's out a final howl and his hair turns gold, his eyes green.
The mercenaries, unsure of what had just happened, stared at Bardock.
He looks up at the minions of Frieza, brings his right hand up to meet them, and incinerated them all in a single blast.
Dodoria walks out of the shadows behind Bardock.
“Finally someone worthy of fighting me.”
Bardock turned to face Dodoria and locked eyes with him, seeing the greed and lust for power in his eyes Bardock could tell this was another one of Frieza's men.
Bardock slowly walked up to him, never taking his hate-filled eyes away from Dodoria. When Bardock gets within about a foot of Dodoria he raises his fist and plows it straight throw Dodoria's stomach, blood begins to spill out of his mouth.
“Now… I know why Frieza wants you Saiyans killed…” Dodoria coughs up another mouthful of blood and falls to the ground.
Bardock looks up at the star-filled sky and looks at the star he knows to be Vegeta, his hair turns black once again and he flies to his pod.

Bardock senses a familiar power level as he passes the pod of his son headed towards Earth…

“Bardock, are you all right? Where are the others?” asked one of the technicians.
“They're dead, all of them,” Bardock then entered the building and walked down the echoing hall to the bar.
“Fellow Saiyans, Frieza has betrayed us. He is going to annihilate this planet.”
The other Saiyans in the bar merely laugh at him and call him crazy, but Bardock keeps dead serious and looks around the room.
“I became a Super Saiyan when his minions killed my comrades, but if you want proof…” Bardock let out a scream and turned into a Super Saiyan once again.
The others stared in awe.
“We must show Frieza the strength of the Saiyan people,” Bardock said, still in his dead serious tone.
“We will slaughter them like all of the other races!” one Saiyan cried out.
With that the fifty or so Saiyans went to the top of the tower and flew into the sky to meet Frieza's mercenaries.
Space
The mercenaries met the Saiyans in a massive battle of titans, but the Saiyans continued to gain ground and slaughter Frieza's men until the strongest of the Saiyans, as well as Bardock, came to Frieza's immense ship.
Frieza's Throne Room
“Open the upper hatch Zarbon.”
“But Frieza!”
“I said open it.”
“Yes, Sir.”
Space
“Frieza get out here now and face us or are you a COWARD!” Bardock screamed.
Seconds later the hatch slowly opened and Frieza gradually flew up to where the Saiyans had made their final stand.
“I am no coward.”
Then there was a long silence.
Frieza lifted his finger, its tip glowing orange.
“Now everything is going to change. The fate of planet Vegeta…”
Frieza's Finger grows brighter.
“My fate… Kakarott's fate… and also your fate you bastard!”
Bardock begins to charge up a ball of ki, for a while there is silence as Bardock and Frieza stair at one another.
“This is the end!” with that battle cry Bardock hurls the ki ball at Frieza; Frieza merely laughs and the glowing tip of his finger expands to become an immense energy ball, capable of destroying Vegeta. The ki ball is absorbed into Frieza's and Bardock looks on in awe as Frieza continues laughing and orders the ball to go towards he and his fellow Saiyans.
The ball hits Bardock and he lets out a short scream, Bardock tries to fight against its power but all in vein. The ball burns off his armor and his life force begins to fade, he begins to see flashes of Goku fighting Frieza and becoming a super Saiyan, Bardock smiles and then all is dark.
