Summary: This entire series takes place in the same universe/time as outlaw star (a personal favorite of mine), so there are pirates and grappler ships etc. The story takes place around the main character Mei Fon Li, a 16 year old who is captain of and president of a company called Angel Links, devoted to fight pirates for free for the smaller companies who cannot afford escorts. Oddly enough, the non-profit organization is rich as hell thanks to her last family member leaving everything to her. She also has a small cat which has demon wings on its head and can transform into a big ass sword, yet another oddly enough, it lives in her shirt. Duuz, another main character is a Dragonite who was introduced in Outlaw Star(Remember that iguana guy that decked Gene?), he owns a broadsword which he is polishing if he is not in the process of using it; he is by far the best fighter on the whole team. There's more, but giving it away would kind of defeat the purpose of you actually watching it :)
Favorite Character: Duuz
Review: The first episode had a lot of fanservice, but the rest of it was fine. From the looks of it, this is a very awesome series, each character gets their own moment or two for developement, the animation is superb(almost the same as Outlaw Star), the voice acting just totally kicks ass; even minor characters have great actors, no one sounds like a complete idiot. I enjoyed it and I'm going to go out and get the second DVD the second I have some spare cash.
